Samsung Hard Reset / Factory Reset Explained: Due to users interest in this post i am going to explain how to make a hard reset or factory reset on Samsung phone right method without loosing your data. Many of users facing verify your account problem after making a factory reset on  their Samsung devices using hardware keys. I will explain about factory reset protection in this post. My data will be safe after Hard Reset?

Definitely answer is no your all data will be wiped after make a hard reset on you Samsung or any Android smartphone or device. We don’t recommend you to make a factory reset or hard reset on your device if you have an important data on your device without making a full backup.

How make a full backup of my Samsung Phone?

To make a full backup of a Samsung phone we can use several options, but i suggest two methods that i feel batter then others. 1st one is Samsung Kies and 2nd is Samsung Smart Switch. Both methods are Samsung official methods to make a backup of to switch to other Samsung device. If you Samsung device have 4.2 or lower Android version then use Kies to make a backup if you have 4.3 or higher version on your device then smart switch will be the best option. Due to Samsung Kies no longer support new models so we will explain Smart Switch below only.

Why my Samsung stuck on verify your account screen?

Google has implemented a new function called FRP (Factory Reset Protection) from Android 5.1, It’s mean all device that have Android 5.1 or higher version of Android OS installed that is FRP enabled. Google added this feature to protect Android users devices from unauthorized access. So Samsung Android devices also have these function. Read more about FRP hereWhen your android device have Google account added on it and screen lock is enabled, You should not make a factory reset using hardware button from recovery screen.

How to Check FRP Lock Status?

1- Power off your Samsung phone
2- Press Volume down, Home and Power buttons at same time.
3- Release power button when warning screen appears
4- Press vol up to go to download mode.
5- Here you can see FRP Lock status OFF or ON

What to do if FRP lock is ON?

If your phone have FRP Lock status ON then please follow these steps before reset.

1- Go to Settings > About Phone
2- Software Information
3- Tape on Build Number 7 times
4- Go Back
5- Developer options
6- Turn On OEM Unlock option

What is Factory reset and how can i  reset my phone safely?

Factory reset option can be found in almost every electronics device that can be configured by user. This option allow us to configure our devices to factory sate. So every mobile phone also have this option to make back to factory state if our phone is miss configured by us or by any application that are installed by user “us”. so to make our cellphone work again normally we have this option.

To reset your Android smartphone to factory settings follow the instructions below.

  • Go to Settings > About phone
  • Software information
  • Tape Build number 7 times until you see developer option enabled
  • Go back and enter into developer options
  • You will have OEM unlock option, Just enable it.
  • Go back to Settings > General management > Reset > Factory data reset
  • Confirm Factory reset your device by accepting agreement on screen.
  • Wait few minutes let your Samsung phone do the job
  • Complete device setup by following instructions on screen
  • DONE!

What is Hard Reset?

Hard reset and factory reset are almost same functions,When we do a factory rest on our device from settings this method called factory reset, but when we do a factory reset on our Samsung phone using hardware keys this called hard reset.

Example: Sometimes Android phone won’t power on and  stuck on startup logo due miss configuration in settings or due to installing incompatible application on device. then we can make a factory reset from recovery by using Home + VOL UP + Power ON buttons. This factory reset method is known as hard reset.

How to Hard Reset Samsung Phones When Home Key Not Work

In this post i am going to explain How to Hard Reset Samsung Phones When Home Key Not Work, Yes we can reset Samsung phones when home key is not in working condition. To understand better you must read this post till end, Because if you done any mistake you can brick your Samsung phone easily.

If you Samsung phone have home button then 95% we need home key to enter in recovery, to restore Samsung phone to factory. Really i have not any solution without dissemble cellphone. But we can restore and Samsung Android phone by flashing firmware using pit file.

How to reset Samsung to factory with broken home button.

To restore Samsung Android phones without home button we need to flash full firmware with pit file. Please don’t start flashing until you know what you are going to do. Better read this post and related information before start. Before starting this you need to download and follow the instruction below.

Follow the instructions below how to flash Samsung with pit file?

  • Unzip all file which you have downloaded
  • Install Samsung USB drivers to your Windows PC.
  • Reboot your Samsung phone in to download mode by using Samsung download mode JIG.
  • Connect phone to PC and let Windows complete drivers installation.
  • Open odin3 and select firmware (.tar.md5) file in PDA or AP.
  • Select pit file and make sure Odin checked Re-Partition option automatically.
  • Make sure you have selected correct Samsung firmware file for you model.
  • Press Start and wait till you get PASS message at top left corner of then odin.

Important Message: Do at your own risk, Don’t cry if you brick your Samsung device due to less reading or due to hardware fault in your Samsung phone. I just written this for those who really want to learn.

NTT Docomo Medias TAB UL N-08D Hard Reset

In this post i am going to share hard reset method for Docomo N-08D Medias TAB UL. Because i have spent lots of my time to search hard reset method for N-08D but i was failed. I have also read Docomo official page About PINs and Passwords but nothing found there. They only mentioned 0000 as device password but this not worked for me.

I also tried lots of combinations mentioned about N-04C at gsmhosting but this method was hard to understand. After lots of combinations used and internet search i am now able to tell how to calculate master password for Docomo N-08D Medias TAB UL. So please keep reading till end of this post i hope you will learn something as me.

NTT Docomo Medias TAB UL N-08D Hard Reset:

  • Turn off your device
  • Press and hold [VOL+] + [VOL-] + [Power Key]
  • Wait until you see Download Mode on screen
  • Then press VOL- You will see System Recovery
  • Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset
  • Use Volume Down for Cursor And Volume Up for Select
  • Select Yes to delete all user data
  • Now device will ask for password

During my search i have seen Docomo have used a special password for every device based on IMEI. So you can extract device password using method described below. I have tested this method and this worked like a charm for me on N-08D. If your Docomo device have IMEI 123456789012345 you can use 2234 as device password.

Guys! if you are in search of Docomo NEC N-04C Medias Hard Reset method then you are at right place. I this post i am going to write how to wipe data and factory reset NEC N-04C Medias. Please read all post before continue.

Docomo NEC N-04C Medias Hard Reset:

  • Turn off your device
  • Press and hold [VOL+] + [VOL-] + [Power Key]
  • Wait until you see Download Mode on screen
  • Then press VOL- You will see System Recovery
  • Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset
  • Use Volume Down for Cursor And Volume Up for Select

Samsung Tab 3 Hard Reset

Aslam-O-Alakum Friends to day i am going to share Samsung Tab 3 Hard Reset method and in this video i have used Samsung Tab 3 T211. So let’s start how to do this?

  • Power off the Samsung Phone
  • Press Vol + Home and Power key
  • Release Power key when Samsung logo appear on screen
  • Continue Holding Vol + and Home key until you see Android logo or recovery screen
  • Select Restore Factory /Wipe User data
  • Press power and let process complete
  • Press power after complete to reboot phone.
  • Follow the instructions on screen to setup as new phone.
